Catamaran Charter Malta — FAQs
How much does it cost to charter a catamaran in Malta?+
A private catamaran charter starts at €520 for a sunset cruise and €910 for a full day. Larger boats for 20 to 45 guests run from €1,105 to €2,860. The price covers the entire boat, the skipper and fuel — not per person.
How many people fit on a private charter?+
Our smallest boats take 14 guests and the largest takes 45. Most boats also allow a few extra guests above the standard capacity for a small charge per person.
Is a skipper included?+
Yes. Every charter comes with a professional skipper and fuel included, so nobody in your group needs a boating licence or any experience.
How long is a full-day charter?+
A full day runs roughly from 10:00 to 18:00 — about eight hours on the water. Sunset charters last two to four hours.
Where do charters depart from?+
Departures are from Roland Marina in Ta' Xbiex or from Sliema, confirmed with your booking. Pick-up from Bugibba, St Paul's Bay, Mellieħa or Gozo can be added for a fee.
Can we have food and drinks on board?+
Yes. You can bring your own, or add a barbecue, sharing platters, a buffet or a vegan menu when you book. Catering is charged per person and prepared for the day of the charter.
What happens if the weather is bad?+
If the charter is cancelled because of the weather, your deposit is refunded in full or moved to another date.
Can we go to Comino and the Blue Lagoon?+
Yes — Comino and the Blue Lagoon are the most requested route, and a full-day charter gives you time to get there, swim and come back at your own pace.
