Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about booking activities in Malta
For most activities you pay a booking deposit online (17% of the activity price + a small service fee) to secure your spot, and the remaining 83% is paid directly to the activity provider on the day. Some experiences — such as the Comino & Blue Lagoon full-day trip — are paid 100% online at the time of booking, with nothing to pay on the day; this is always shown clearly before you pay. There are no hidden fees.
Absolutely. All payments are processed through Stripe, one of the world's most trusted and secure payment platforms. Your card details are encrypted and never stored on our servers. You'll see a padlock in your browser and a Stripe receipt immediately after payment.
You'll receive an instant booking confirmation email with your unique booking reference, the activity details, and the meeting point address. Simply show this email (on your phone is fine) when you arrive at the activity. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to meet your guide and complete any safety briefings.
All deposits are non-refundable. When you complete a booking, your slot is held exclusively for you — it's removed from our calendar and no other guest can take it. If your plans change, contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to move you to a different date or time, subject to availability. In the event the activity is cancelled by us or the provider due to weather or sea conditions, you will receive a full refund or a complimentary reschedule.
Yes. Contact us via WhatsApp (+356 7965 4501) or email at least 24 hours before your activity and we'll do our best to accommodate a date change, subject to availability.
Most of our activities depart from St Thomas Bay, Marsaskala — a beautiful sheltered bay on the south-east coast of Malta, approximately 20 minutes by car from Valletta. Free parking is available on-site. The Comino & Blue Lagoon day tour departs from St Julian's. The exact meeting point for each activity is shown on the activity page and included in your booking confirmation email.
Each activity has its own minimum age requirement shown on the activity page. For jet ski hire: minimum 18 years to drive (passengers min. 10). For kayak and SUP: minimum 16 for solo. Boat trips and dolphin watching are suitable for all ages including young children.
Most activities are designed for complete beginners. Jet skis, kayaks and SUP boards all include a safety briefing before departure. The Blue Grotto Jet Ski Safari is guided throughout — your guide sets the pace and no prior experience is required.
For water activities: swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes. For boat trips and longer sessions: bring water, snacks, and a hat — the Malta sun is strong. We recommend a waterproof phone case to keep your phone safe on the water, or leave valuables locked in your car at the meeting point.
Yes. Water activities operate in good weather and safe sea conditions only. If an activity is cancelled by the provider due to weather or sea conditions, you will receive a full refund or a free reschedule. We recommend booking early in your stay so you have flexibility to reschedule if needed.
Yes. Activities like the 28ft boat can accommodate up to 15 people and are great value for groups. For large group enquiries or private charters, contact us via WhatsApp at +356 7965 4501 and we'll put together the best option for your group.
We make it simple: real-time availability, instant confirmation, secure online payment, and multilingual support in 5 languages. You pay a small deposit online and the rest on the day. If anything changes, we're available via WhatsApp 7 days a week.
