About this experience
In Anchor Bay, in the north-west of Malta, a whole wooden village was built to shoot “Popeye”, the 1980 film starring Robin Williams. The set stayed, and today it is one of the island's best-known family days out.
Your ticket gives access to every area and attraction: the village houses, the Popeye comic museum, a 15-minute documentary about the filming in the village cinema, animation shows through the day, a Maltese silver filigree demonstration and a 9-hole minigolf. You can even star in your own short film and attend its “premiere”.
From May to October summer joins in: an inflatable obstacle course and bathing platform in the turquoise water of Anchor Bay, a children's pool, sunbeds, umbrellas and showers. And at Carnival, Easter, Halloween and Christmas the village dresses up for the occasion.
