Marsaskala is the southeast's quiet fishing-town answer to the crowded northern resorts — and St Thomas Bay (South Eastern Region, Marsaskala) is its watersports base. Everything below departs from the same spot and can be booked online with live availability.
Budget-friendly: kayaks and paddleboards
The bay is sheltered and calm — ideal for first-timers.

Self-drive boats — no licence needed

Dolphin spotting
The 1-hour dolphin spotting trip (€120) heads out from the same bay. Sightings can never be guaranteed — they're wild animals — but they happen on most trips, and if no dolphins are seen the trip is refunded in full.
