Comino Blue Lagoon Pass 2026: The Entry QR Explained
If you're planning a Blue Lagoon day this summer, there's one thing you must sort out before any boat ticket: the Comino entry pass. It's new, it's mandatory, and it catches a lot of visitors by surprise.
What is the Comino entry pass?
The Maltese government requires an entry pass — a QR code — for every visitor to Comino island. It exists to manage how many people are on the island at once, and it is checked on arrival.
Where do you get it? (and why we can't sell it)
The pass is issued only through the official channel: blcomino.com/product/blue-lagoon. Boat operators cannot sell it — it is not included in any boat trip, ours or anyone else's. Get it yourself online before the day and keep the QR on your phone.
Without it you can be refused entry to the island, so book the pass first and the boat second.
The boat part: our full-day trip
Once your pass is sorted, the boat is easy: our Comino & Blue Lagoon full-day trip departs daily at 10:00 from Welbee's Supermarket, Pendergardens, St Julian's (arrive 20 minutes early), costs €30 per person paid online, and runs daily until 31 August. Around 30 guests per departure — summer dates genuinely sell out, so book a few days ahead.
